EMDB is a small application to keep track of your DVD collection. Some of the features include automatic import from the database of IMDB, cover preview, a loan tracker, search function and multi-language user interface. EMDB is Written in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and doesn?t need a .NET framework or any other external libraries.
New Features in version 0.88:
- Thumbnails: Fixed several problems with thumbnails when changing the default database location.
- Generate HTML: Updated the Default template to only show those sections which actually contain at least one movie.
- User Interface: Added ‘Nr Discs’ and ‘Comments’ to the possible columns in the main window.
- User Interface: Added an option to force Tabbed Add Movie Dialog. This mode was already set when the vertical resolution is below 768 pixels (e.g. when running EMDB on a netbook). Use this when the Add Movie Dialog does not fit on your screen, e.g. when you changed the DPI settings of your Display Driver.
- IMDB Import: Made some improvements to prevent (occasionally) IMDB import freezes.
- Database: The default location is made relative to be able to use EMDB as portable application.
- CSV / Text Export: fixed strange characters in Save As Type dropdown box.
- Movie Properties: Added Season for TV Series.
- Thumbnail import: Fixed thumbnail import from Freecovers.net.
- Translations: Updated the Dutch, Finnish, Portugese and Turkish translations.
- Translations: Added Slovenian translation.
